In our PIP Settler child care program we have a partnership approach with you in developing your baby's daily schedule starting from capturing special moments with photos and sending them to you. Each day, we will provide a detailed written report of your little one's feeding, sleeping, diapering, and learning activities. We make sure this first transition away from home is smooth and joyful for you and your baby in kids play school. Toddlers learn best in safe, loving places where they can explore, in their own way. The activities for this age group are built around toddlers' limitless curiosity and their natural desire to push boundaries. During their time with us your child will learn to count, discover writing and music, and start building toward following simple instructions, writing, and the potty.

During this year in our your child will be given full opportunity to reap the benefits of a Montessori and play way education. We will continue to provide a safe, secure and familiar, family like environment to your child. They will stay with the teachers they already know and love, and no time is lost in their transition to a new classroom. Children will be with the classroom routines and the teachers have built a strong working relationship with them. The teachers will always be available to listen to your concerns, set goals with you, and are aware of your child's strengths, as well as areas targeted for continued growth. During this program your child will be introduced to many new materials which have been designed for a deeper level of understanding to meet the needs of the older child. We help our children to gain the skills of concentration, coordination, and develop working habits for their later grades. Here they will begin to learn how to manage their time and gain a sense of personal responsibilty . Through the use of concrete materials and abstract concepts such as math or reading they will begin to sink in through the hands-on work they do in these areas.As an example the simple pink cubes which your child has used to understand the concept of sequencing from smallest to largest now has five new concepts to share.

In this program as the name goes, we will organize small and large group activities which are planned in a way to support the child's needs and promote development of cognitive, language, social and emotional skills besides physical development. This is a sensitive period of a child's life and we have designed our program in a way where children could take advantage and absorb information from their enriched environment at PIP. Our classroom will provide opportunities for children's creative exploration which are balanced with the teachers' guidance during intentional teaching and learning activities. We are more focussed on our children's personality development which helps the child to build confidence. Children will be seem compelled to explore their immediate environment by using all their senses. For example, they may open the back of a clock to see how it ticks or bounce a ball so high that it disappear. By end of this program, the child will be ready to move into our full fledge PIP Flyer program.

This year in a child's life is marked by a burst of interest in being social and seeing themselves as a responsible part of a social community. This program emphasizes on the importance of reading skills to develop strong basic skills and a deep love of reading for desired outcome. It will take the children through a series of steps that builds competency. Writing activities are also mixed each day including story writing, communicating etc. It includes the elements of writing stories which is a great joy for children. With this we will introduce practical math concepts that allow for a smooth transition into any type of formal classroom situation. A sense of caring and respect for self, others, our Earth, our environment, animals, plants, and things will be encouraged with our teachers model caring, respectful social interactions. Our art and craft with audio visual rooms will increase the child's skills, understanding and appreciation of the visual arts and to enhance their creativity through art. The teachers are available to talk to parents before and after school each day. Feel free to share information with them about your child.
