Play is the serious work of children. When children play they learn. Through it, they clarify information, integrate ideas from their previous experiences, and explore and experiment with their environment. Play also gives them the opportunity to add knowledge, learn new skills and practice familiar ones. They learn to deal with their feelings, interact with children and adults and resolve conflicts. The first two tears of a child’s life are the time of his most rapid development. By the end of the second year the brain has already reached 75% of its adult weight. So the early years of the child till he is 5 years old becomes the age when maximum learning takes place and habits incorporated at this age are difficult to break.
